GYTR Clutch Plates vs Std OEM Plates?

4 posts in this topic

Does anyone know what the difference is between the standard oem friction/drive plates and the GYTR stuff? Are the GYTR drive plates steel or hard anodized aluminum?

I am about to order a new clutch pack and would be interested in everyone's opnion. I am more concerned with quality/performance than price.

Wow, I thought this would be answered in a matter of minutes with all the knowledge in this forum! Anybody?

The Hinson "steel" plates I had in the '03 were steel. I haven't actually seen a GYT-R set in quite a while, so I can't say with certainty (so I said nothing), but I'd imagine they would be steel.
