I have been reading through this forum and others. It is suggested that you take the wire out of the plug with a small screw driver after pulling the plug apart rather than cutting it.

i just used a small flat head screw driver to push it out of the connector then taped it up...

I put a switch in the middle of the wire to enable use of both ignition maps.

can you switch timing when the bike runs?

I thought I read somewhere that it has to be shut off for it to take effect.
