portable hand warmer

8 posts in this topic

I had to do the same thing one night when a few hour ride ended up being an 8 hour adventure with my gloves being left behind. Theres nothing like the hot, smelly feel of a warm exhaust thawing out your frozen hands. Steed I noticed in the photo that it looks like you are just wearing normal riding gloves? If you like riding in the really cold conditions you may want to look into a pair of Moose winter riding gloves. They keep my hands very toasty and still let you use the controls with ease.

Mines easier as you dont have to get off the bike, learned this thanksgiving weekend when dumb ass me decided to take a nice freeway drive to work. 45 mins in 20s for temp and i just figured to put my hand down on the cylinder LOL its easy and no need to get off bike or even stop LOL

Ya I use that trick here too. Lately its in the low 20's and teens. Works great until you accidentally rest your sweet new MSR winter riding gloves on the header... HMMMMM, whats burning?

Winter gloves help a lot. Try a pair of glove liners from a ski shop also.

:smirk:

+1

Polypropylene liner gloves under riding gloves.
