fork question

3 posts in this topic

i have read several articles on fork oil height but i am a dummy. i know that you have to remove the spring and compress the insides all the way down. but do you push the outer tube all the way down too? then measure the oil height to aprox 120mm below the top of the outer tube while it is pushed all the way down? i know this is a dumb question but i sometimes have a hard time understanding stuff. thanks

Yes the outer fork tube should be bottomed out and I thing you want the tube that goes thru the damper in also...

The manual if you have one has excellent instructions and illustrations...
