Supermoto Wheels with Cush Drive

6 posts in this topic

They only list hubs and wheels for the YZ.

Does the YZ and WR use the same wheel?

the yz and the wr share the same rear hub . the front hub on a wr has two tabs that drive your stock odometer/speedometer , other then that the hub is the same . you can ether have your front hub relaced , or what most people do is just pop on a aftermarket computer like a vapor .

So yes yz stuff fits mostly . I don't think any aftermarket front hub has the two tabs .

I read that a clutch basket from a 450 quad will fit these bikes. That has to absorb some of the road shock instead of using a cush hub. They have a spring dampening set up in the big gear behind the basket. I bought one but havent installed it yet.

ok here is some links to gytr parts , they don't say anything about a damper. but they are not the same looking at the pics. by the looks of it you need something in the middle of the 4 wheeler one to make it work
