my little friends

Hello

XR650R

BIG Red needs no introductions other than all HRC mods including clutchkit and springs, FMQ pipe ,Brakings oversize disc, Braidedlines, and street skins with 15/40 final gear.

She has been known to pick some fights and is running short on KTM's and such.

I thought I'd help make it a fear fight .

The suppertrapp ,XR650R carb ,velosity stack,Hot Cams cam.and battery moved for wieght centralizing.

Soon to come tires ,brakes and lines.

I'm sorry if they have ever bullied any of you.

Welcome resurrrection! A nice stable of pigs you have.. I like to see a guy that admires BOTH the L and R!!:busted:

My L beat up your L... LOL!

They usually play well together I'm the one that gets beat up.:worthy:

At the end of a hot day of riding I'm most certen I would be faster on a smaller lighter less powerfull machine myself.

Truth is most people even very skilled riders would rather not ride the R model with mods off road .If you haven't you can not even imagine the fear it will instill. It will most likely ruin your day of riding ,you become afraid of the throttle.

This is a true story

Once at road America I rode R model down the hill on the outside of 12 .

Thinking it would be fun I told a friend to get on for the ride up.

all was well until a bump had him sliding back pulling me and the trigger that #@$#@ bike pulled both of us up leaping up the bank 10' into a crowd of people my feet not on the pegs and my buddy doing the superman thing with his arms around my ankles.:busted:

Trust me ride at your own risk!

I did rub on the staight pull carb for some time .

the air horn speaks for it self .

and I'm sure the pipe will screem.

dude your pics are waaay too small. where did you put your battery? airbox? under the seat(above the airbox)? i'm about to put mine under the seat when i get a chance hopefully this week

Phone photos I will post some more to night

The wife, or the Honda??? LOL>>

:worthy:

Yes and YES! :busted:

I put the battery were the air box was after making a plate to replace iner rear fender that goes with air box ,I have placed an air horn (velosity stack)

Which the machine seems to like.I Will cover with sock for any off road use.

I haven't yet spent much time with these mods just two short rides.

Then new cam at Christmas and Chicago weather have things on hold .I'm planing to finish mods and tuning before weather brakes.

Woo Hoo! 1st post in here. What's up? What's the plans for the Resurrection garage this weekend?? I may be down for some beers and chit chat.

Thanks Rich. Resurrection told me to get on here, so here I am to start lurking around.

Hello

Out there in the web world.this weekend will include an open house wrench fest as race season is here.

We will be rebuilding V65 sabor carbs and maybe a family visit to lincolnpark zoo sunday and a walk on the lake front .

Thanks for the welcome Rich as this fella is one of my favorite people and part of my Resurrection crew .His sense of humor will not go un noticed.

We are hopping to send him off to MMI for the lattest in motorcycle tech,

in ex ECU and fuel injection service as this old man is alittle old school and can use some help with the computator goodies.

5 minutes to take the Sabre carbs off....that didn't happen. Just make sure I am around when they get put back in, my clock will be ticking! Hah ha

I think that silly time frame was from a helper if I recall.

They are rebuilt and go on sat.
