07 yz 450 rear sprocket size?

Anybody out there using a 52tooth rear sprocket for trails and off-road?If so,does it fit the stock chain length of the 07? thanks,Andy

why not go 13 on front

i went 50 and it was not enough, then i went 51 , perfect combo

if you want to go 52, it's cheaper to go up a front sprocket

Because that's what the '06 and later comes with.

I don't think you can use a stock length chain with a 52 rear. I alternate between a 49 and 50 with the stock length and with the 50, my wheel is all the way at the front of my swingarm.

Thanks guys,good info. I have the 9oz flywheel weight and am happy with the results.The 13/49 is still a little tall for me on some of nastier stuff.Are you guys with the 51 tooth rears able to use the stock chain length,or is it to tight? Thanks again, Andy.

i believe i put a 116link x-ring on mine...not sure how many links stock is.

mine is has the 113 link chain and there still might be enough room for a 52T

but try the 51T every one i talk to with this bike is happy with a 51T even in the tight bush , I run the 9 0z gytr Fly wheel weight. i think any taller will rob top speed and give you arm pump in a big way.

I would sell the bike cheap and look at getting a CRF 230 or a KTM!!! I would get rid of that 250x also. TOO MUCH POWER!!

Just get the 51 tooth and rip ass!!
