Intro - and new bike!

2 posts in this topic

I purchased a 2000 WR 400 friday, and tried it today, and now I know what WR stands for - Wild Ride...

I recently had a Suzuki 350 and I had a XR400 before that, and it isn't fair to compare the WR400 to any of those.

My DR 350 could only to a wheelie in 1 gear if I used the clutch, with the WR I had the front wheel high up in 2. gear with throttle only.

The suspension is fantastic! I can't wait to try it out on a motocross track.

Anyways... this forum is great. It has played a huge role in helping me decide which bike to buy this time.
