Quick Tip:Inside Header 6mm AllenBolt-stripped? No Problem....

4 posts in this topic

If the inside 6mm Allen head is stripped on your yz450 from taking the header on and off constantly.....use a T40 Torx driver....works with NO slips on the rounded out allen bolt....

Just in case you guys run into that horrible situation.

i'll have to get one of those...damn dr.d header is right in the way of my oil cover :busted:
So? Loosen the 12 mm hex nut on the outside, and use a tire iron to flex the pipe up enough to draw the top bolt out. No reason to disturb the Allen bolt.
