'01 and '07 Parts compatability???

Thinking of upgrading to the '07 from my '01 wr426f... wanted to see what parts will/might fit on the '07.

1. Wheels (Talon hubs)?

2. Triple clamps?

3. Scotts SS oil filter?

4. FMF powerbomb/ q2

I have alot of other parts I want to carry over like bars, handguards, vapor, etc... and I'm sure the'll fit.

Im so glad I kept all the old parts!

I just checked the part numbers for the wheels:

The rear hub and spacers are the exact same.....

The front Hub is a bit different... What do you all think?

The scotts SS oil filter will fit. Pretty much all the yamaha singles (from TT-Rs to quads to Rhinos to these fine race machines) have the same oil filter.

The exhaust will not fit. Any exhaust off a 2006 or 2007 YZ 450f will fit. If you don't replace the header with a YZ or aftermarket header, you will need to use the gasket sleeve that is in the stock WR midpipe B/C the stock WR header is a smaller diameter than the YZ or aftermarket headers.

Don't know about the triple clamps

I don't think the front hub will work with the 07' odo head.

07' forks are bigger in diameter so clamps will not work.

I dont care about the odo pickup.... I will hook up my vapor!

Sure just get a YZ spacer and seal for the right side

I was told by my dealer that any year of the wr front wheel , would fit my 2007 but not much else off of an older one will.
