6 posts in this topic

I'm interested.. how mcuh will it lower me and can I DIY?

I'm pretty handy but don't want to screw up my new bike.

I love my 650l just too hard to get off it.

I needed a press to get the bearings out of the old link. It took a little patience to get all the needles back in. 1 of the bolts is a little tricky to get out. But besides these 2 things, it's pretty basic.

The link I had from Kouba came with bearings in place but it was a 150 bucks. It was not difficult to install at all and there are directions on Kouba's website.

Never used it so I don't know. Sold the bike before I installed it.

I believe it's an inch to 1.5". Bearings are in.
