Help with 06 yz 450f

Thinking about trying a heavier flywheel 9oz-I ride mostly motocross.

Any thoughts if i should or shouldn't?

How did the heavier flywheel effect your 450?

I ride mostly hard baked tracks

It all depends what you are trying to accomplish...and your skill level.

if you have way too much wheelspin on those hrd baked tracks then yes a flywheel weight will help. More torque to the rear wheel.

But you need to investigate the weight you are considering. I would call DRD for some advice or maybe someone who has gone through the exercise on different flywheel weights can assist here. 9oz seems too heavy to me on a stock motor for MX only
