Re-route carb vents, did I do it right?

Searching around I think I read that you re-route two of the carb vent lines to the airbox incase you stall out and have to restart the bike in a water crossing where the water would be up to the frame where the carb vent lines normally are.

Now I think it said to re-route the lines on each side of the carb that point straight up out of the carb and move these two to the air box.
