I own a 2007 WR450. The directions from the AIS kit tell me to use the stock main jet 162 and a 48 Pilot with the mixture screw 3 turns out. It runs great. My question is this: Should I go one up on the main or the pilot to get to the optimum of 1-2 turns out on the mixture screw? I have always heard that if you have to turn the screw out 3 turns, you need to go one up on either the main of the pilot. Can someone please clarify this? Thanks a lot.
