Thanks guys...I figured with no new 08 coming....and a wife foaming at the mouth to be pregnant....I would just make my 06 look and handle/brake better....

Black applied 24s, Black Talon Hubs/Excel wheels and Braking 270mm front Wave and rear wave rotors......now it really looks like a Anniversary Edition...

Also have a white kit that I am playing with with custom Doug Henry Style graphics.....should also look great with the black....

I Like the rear sprocket. What brand? Also curious about your thoughts on the taller seat - is that an SDG? Do you like it? I was considering it as well.

Thanks

The taller seat (SDG and I have a Gutz Racing Tall/Softer foam version)helps you get your weight forward easier, gets rid of the lowboy saddle feel of the stock seat, and the transition of your weight front to rear is easier making turning a ton better...now there is more weight on the front as well as weight on the back for sand etc... The Sprocket is a 50tooth Ironman SS with 13 front.(the only sprockets I will buy)DID ERT2 non oring chain

I tried a lot of other offsets on other riders bikes before deciding on the Applied 24s. This is what worked best for me to get the front to turn much better(search and you will find tons of heated discussions on this). They are rubber mounted also.

Fork guards are lightspeed....they look trick and protect the forks....

thanks guys....these changes really make the 06 which is a great bike stock into a superb handling machine.

well not to offend you...this bike a so different than any of the 426s I had....it does everything better.

I also have a 03...that is a hell of a bike...and my advice to anyone thinking of upgrading from a 400/426....to a 06-08.....or even from a 03-05.....the new generation 450s are so much better than the previous generations...they simply do everything better and without as much rider effort.
