Recommendations: What Bar Bend (Pro Taper) on '06 450?

I bent my bars this week and need to get a new set.

Have you guys tried different bends? I was looking at maybe the RC bend Pro-Taper just to try something different.

What bend is the stock Pro Taper on the '06?

The Reed Bend or the Windham is what a lot of ppl here are using. The stock bars are too low and are unique to Yamaha from what I remember.

I personally like the "CR High" bend.

bar bend is a personal preference.....

depends on your height and what you are used to....

I prefer the Windham bend....

+1 on the Windham. I have the ProTaper Evo model with the Windham bend. It's the tallest bend they have and I'm a tall guy. CR-Hi is 4mm shorter with a little more sweep. It'd probably be my second choice.

I use RC or "Universal Low", but I'm also 5' 6" tall.

If you get the RC bars, you get a little bag of magic pixie dust that increases speed by 35%, but it only works for people RC's height or lower.... just FYI. ?

thats why i was wanting to try a smaller/shorter bar.

I am about your height, maybe an inch and a half taller the most. I like the Reed bend on my 06 YZ250F, i think its a good choice.

I'm 6' 2" so I am using the Pro Taper Pastrana FMX bend bars as they are the highest bar I could find...I think they are 4 3/4".
