New Fenders

I cut the front fender down, put a CRF rear fender on,cut the license plate bracket off the tail light and mounted it upside down with a aluminum bracket, and cut the subframe and filler the holes with bondo.I think it weighs 300 lbs.,maybe less.Picture174.jpg

Looks very nice. Wish I could do that on mine but our local ordinance requires the license tag to be in full visibility and lighted. What kind of tires are on your bike and what size are they?

looks good, just need to relocate the battery soyou can get rid of that black tumor hiding behind the left cover! then a xr600 left side cover will slim er down a bit! ya , what tires and how much?

The tires are Avon roadriders.V rated to 149 mph LOL.Front is 90/90-21 and rear is 130/80-18.Dennis Kirk has them for $200.00 to your door.I would love to get rid of the black tumor.still unsure where to mount the battery.

I like the front fender look. Kinda looks like mine too. I didn't like the stocker look or bouncy form. I had nowhere close to go look at aftermarket either. Here it is with the just finished USD conversion.

either try the airbox relo. like i did and run a pod filter. or do like rmhcr from austrailia and mount it under the seat.

I would run a pod if I had a FCR carb, but funds are tight right now.Is there enough room under the seat for a battery?
