jetting issues on 2000 wr400

I am a beginner in jetting and I just got this bike. I put a fmf powercore 4 on it and a quickshot and I am trying to jet it I have stock jet. After I put the pipe on and new plug the plug was white in the middle and black soot on the outside ring. Any suggestions on what jets to install?
