help with free mods.

i have been reading about the free mods for wr400 but the pictures of the carb i found dont look the same as my carb, there doesnt seem to be a throttle stop that stops full throttle. it is a 98 model wr400 is this model different, i have searched on here but cant seem to find the answer.

Says you are from across the pond... did the UK WR have the throttle stop on it from the factory?

If you bought the bike second hand the mod may have already been done. ask the previous owner if thats the case.

I think your best bet is to follow the instructions here and take the throttle stop you have and compare it to a YZF throttle stop...good luck mate!

The throttle stop screw is shown in your picture here. It looks like it has been backed out though, and I see some sort of thread locker on it. It is at the left hand side of the picture and goes up behind the pulley that holds the throttle cables. You will still want to compare it's overall length with a YZ throttle stop unless you can get someone to give you the measurements. Hope this helps.

i have found the measurements from the link prime gave me so i will give that a go and check see if it has already been cut down.
