Suspension shops for desert riding?? Who and Where?

So I am thinking of purchasing a WR but I am trying to figure out who does good suspension work for desert type riding, IE: Whoops,Sand,Rocks. I currently have my suspension setup by Precision concepts for my honda and it is freakin awesome! So who all know what might be available out there for the Wr's? I am thinking either a 08 or 07 wr450.

I have looked in to Rec-Tech but I have not been happy with them in the past.

Thanks

I use Suspension by Jake, located in Riverside, CA

Very happy with is work.

Why Change They will do your Yamaha won't they?

yeah any shop thats been around a bit can set you up for any riding if you like their work from before id stay with them.

IVE HAD XR600'S-DRZ400 AND NOW WR450 AND WON'T HAVE ANYONE BUT DEWAYNE JONES SUSPENSION [sO.CAL] SET IT UP...:worthy:

THE BAD THING ABOUT SOME OF THE BIGGER SUSPENSION SHOPS IS THEY HAVE A LOT OF NEW GUYS "LEARNING" THE TRADE.:thumbsdn:

ONLY DEWAYNE HIMSELF WILL EVER WORK ON YOUR STUFF,NOT SOME KID THAT WAS WORKING AT TACO BELL LAST WEEK!

I figured i would take it Precision because I like the work they do and I know them. I just thought I might ask what you guys are using.

I've tried several different shops in and around So Cal...RG3, Shock Therapy, ENZO and none of them even came close to Daryl @ ACME Suspension. 760-949-6794. He does lots of desert racer and riders suspenson and he knows how to make the Kayaba's work very well.

Just my .02

second that on acme. he did my kx 250 for the desert and now i will be taking him my 07 wr450. my uncle races dist. 37 and he only uses acme.

Third on ACME.

Wow acme sounds like the concensus here, where is he at?

www.mysuspension.com is the place to go in socal. George is top notch!

acme is up in oak hills/victorville

Try trailtricks.net

I thought trail tricks was ktm only. I guess I was wrong.

Sorry boys I do not like ESP.

You always have to find the place that works for you. ESP was very good for me. I followed the many other recommendations that I got.

The main thing is to get the suspension done by a qualified professional. You're ankles, knees and back will thank you for it.

Precision Concepts. They can do any bike perfectly. JM02

ESP is a great place, he did my 06 WR450. George rides too. He's been revalving suspensions since the early 80's.
