3 posts in this topic

I ride a 2003 yz450 on the track and i am wondering what to do to the suspension to get it tuned for my weight 135lbs. I believe all the settings are stock.

As light as you are, I might start by backing all the compression settings all the way soft, and reducing the rebound to about 5 clicks away from full soft, then add damping as you need to. Remember that the rebound clicker on your fork also influences the mid stroke compression, and excess rebound can make the fork seem harsh over the lighter bumps.

Springs would help a lot in your case.
