What did you do to your WR today?

What have I done to my WR lately?

Rode it hard for about 2 weeks straight every night!

Instead of riding last night, I made her a wheel chock, and a couple more for the wife's and son's rides, seeing that we're going on a road trip north on thanksgiving and the trailer has to be ready to go by then.

Installed an Edelbrock carb and a YZ cam. 1000 times better than before. The carb made jetting easy. Screw the FCR carb. It is a POS. The YZ cam gave me extra chugging ability for the tight, uphill, single track, switch backs. My bike is a pleasure to ride. Will be installing some gold valves next.

gold valves? isn't gold soft and heavy? i am fixing my headlight. i hit it with a large log and it broke the small, thin metal bracket at the top and the fastener setup at the bottom. now that it is getting dark at 7:30, i will need my light operational.

Stripped all graphics, new Maxxis tires, GYT-R pipe and header, 48 pilot jet, and washed. Waiting for Zipty metal hot start cable screw for the carb (dealer monkey messed up the plastic one while rotating the carb), then I'm going to try a 168 mj.

well not today but i got my 07 wr450f three weeks ago put over a hundred miles in the hills on it and love it,,

i have

cut the grey wire

opened the air box

changed the throttle stop screw

pulled the plug on the pipe

picked up my paddle tire

ordered a green 66 led whip which im hoping will run off the tail light

and installed the ais removal kit,

my issues, personally the ais kit said to change the jets after pulling the plug ang change fuel screw setting,, for my bike riding in california by silverwood,, that jet change was a bad move,, popping in the air box,, also left side while sitting on it the two flat head covers need to be watched they loosen and leak oil,,,, love the bike though

next

pipe and jetting before our dumont dunes trip on oct 25th through the 29th

i want to change to the white plastics with grey seat, im going with an irish theme so my number plates will be white with green shamrocks and white letering in the shamrocks

later

stabilizer

help

anyone know what jets to run for dumont and silverwood areas

and has anyone used the kings tire three rib front tire on a two wheeler in the sand,, does it help or is it a waste of cash,,,

ride hard live life and respect your fellow riders

Installed new grips, alum throttle tube, rear caliper guard, and skidplate. Checked it over and got it ready for 4 days of riding in Moab. Leaving in the morning for the great trip.

Looked at her today in the garage..she had a frown b/c she hasn't been ridden in a couple of weeks.

I'm gonna try to get around to putting the AIS back on tomorrow so that I can go to carnegie next sunday. They're one of the areas thats strictly enforcing smog pump violations and truthfully the $150 ticket isn't worth it. That money is better spent on booze and women

Selling my immaculate 2016.5 KTM 250SXF Factory Edition with only 9.6hrs on it since new. Has been vet ridden and cared for. I have a clean title in hand for the bike. Bike has the following...
-SMPro Platinum wheelset and new Dunlop MS3 tires with only a few rides on them ($1000 wheelset)
       -D.I.D ERT2 chain only a few rides
-Orange Renthal sprocket, and 13T countershaft sprocket only a few rides
-Mapped by Tokyo Mods for U4.4 (still have standard map also for pump gas)
       -WP AER 48mm air forks
       - FMF 4.1 titanium slip on muffler
Bike will come with stock header pipe but still have the FMF factory Titanium slip on. Will also take off the titanium bolts and Renthal bars and put back on the stock ones. Will aslo come with triangle stand, manual, clean title, extra twin air filter, 14T countershaft sprocket, WP air pump for the forks, half a can of U4.4 fuel, and KTM tool kit. NO TRADES. NO FINANCING. NO LOWBALLERS. Bike is in showroom condition and the Factory Editions are very hard to find used in this kind of shape or new. $6800 price is FIRM.

I added skateboard grip tape to the frame by my pegs and on the subframe for extra grip.

I just ordered a piston kit for my 1998 yz80, and it does not fit into my cylinder. I can't really remember if its a 47.5 mm or 47, i'm pretty sure it's a 47.5 but it just does not fit into my cylinder. My cylinder does have a big groove in it, so do I need a new cylinder for it to fit, or a new piston? Please respond ASAP!

Hopefully I will not have to make any more posts after this but I have questions about the 04 wr snorkel. Before it's suggested yes I did read the free mod guide on super Moto junkie and he shows the snorkel being removed but does not explain or show how. I tried removing the two bolts on top and the battery but it still doesn't even budge after that, is it molded in place? Also what is deemed as a clean or dirty air filter? I don't know what is supposed to be normal, upon looking at mine there was a good amount of thick black grease that I wiped out so I have no idea how long this one has been used or last cleaned. I bought a no toil filter to replace the current one since I just did a rebuild and why not have a clean one in there. But if someone can enlighten me on details it would be much appreciated.

I have for sale a nice Yamaha pw80. Normally this is 2 stroke kids bike, but it has been modified to be better suited for bigger riders. It is a blast to ride around the neighborhood and would make a great pit bike or starter bike for someone.

      (video of it running)
      https://youtu.be/_TX4mhq4CrU
      Pros
      2 stroke
      Great shape
Runs amazing (Watch the video link. Paste the link into your browser) https://youtu.be/_TX4mhq4CrU
      new air filter
      new oil/oil filter
      new sparkplug
black dragon high performance ignition kit
      upgraded black dragon flywheel
Boyesen Dual Stage Power Reed Set
      chain and sproket kit
x tender suspension lift kit (raises it about 4 inches to make it comfortable for bigger riders)
clutch-less semi manual (you do the shifting, but there is no clutch to mess with)
      cons
due to the lift the factory kickstand is no longer effective. You need to place a block of wood under the kickstand else the bike will lean over too far
one grip needs to be replaced (see picture)
sticker peeling on one side (see picture)
no title. This was gifted to me from my uncle. He got ill before I had a chance to get the title from him. The vin is listed below
      VIN JYA3RV0394A043189
This is a great bike and I would love to keep it but it is time for it to go. I have too many toys at this point and I am highly motivated to sell it to buy a new motor for my car (don't tell my wife.haha). If you have any questions or would like any additional information do not hesitate to ask. I would be glad to help.
Price is set at 999 OBO. That means or best offer. I will not tell you my bottom dollar through text or email. If you are serious prove it by showing up to my place with cash. Money talks, always.
