Thats pretty neat... It takes a really good video from there, I would have thought something like that would be too shaky. Guess not. Awesome riding there by the way. Thats the CRF I take it?

Pulled about 80 goatheads out of my front and rear tire. No leaks so far from what I can tell, but I'll know more later when I get home from work. My son's bike wasn't so lucky. His front tire is flat, but his rear tire seems ok. That's the last time I will ride in that particular area.

i got a box... with a new headlight, spokes, fork seals and bushings, airfilter, new sprokets and chain :)

still gotta tear it down for powder coat, the local shop wants $85 per wheel to lace and true though ;) i think i'll do it myself though cause i found this thread http://www.thumpertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=583471&highlight=lacing+trueing+wheel and don't have to have the bike ready till TDay.

Anyone know where i can find black side panels? i've looked a lot of places and UFO has them on their site for $75 :) i've got a black headlight and i'm going with red back grounds/white numbers and would like it to match, might just have to go black backgrounds with red backgrounds on top cut smaller, not looking forward to buying new plastics either cause that puts me completely broke. I need a job! :)

tomorrow out the engine and take off the tires and delace the wheels so those can get coated too!

well over the past 2 days ive done a crap ton of stuff to the ol 400. i got a long overdue oil change in, patched the tube twice since th old man decided to pinch the tube as we were putting it in the first time, got the dampening adjusted on the front and read shocks and it made a huge difference, i had to rewire the rear light since the grey plastic they cover the wires with broke and filled with mud then hardened and the wires broke that was an adventure, then bled the brakes and topped them up, then fixed the broken rear fender and now it no longer flaps in the wind, then put a new bolt in for the exhaust and some never seiize on it same with the exhaust clamp. it was a busy few days but after i got all that done a went for a quick boot and its running better then ever. im so stoked to ride tomorrow. -Wes

Be sure to post pics of the ride when you get back. Always nice to see what other people ride, and where.

This ride goes from Beaver Mountain Ski Resort in Northern Utah to St. Charles, Idaho along Bear Lake and then Back.

I got two flats on this ride, the first in the first 3 miles. The second was in St. Charles so needless to say, I never got to enjoy the full ride.

All Bolted together

** Few issues I came across ... fuel tank mounts at rear and bottom rad shroud only... the under tank mount needs welding in a different place.

** Lowest bolt on tank to rad shroud out by 2cm needs adjusting (alloy tab with 2 holes and a second bolt fixed this)

** Rear subframe mount behind tank is wider than wr450 so the airbox bolts dont line up

** Rear guard needs redrilling to fit

** Rear brake master reserve has no mounting on alloy subframe needs a tab welded on (Or get the later model master cylinder with no reserve)

To pay off our street bikes (so we can sell them too), I sold it today. Not happy. Pretty damned upset. I'm going to slowly save for another. Maybe a 2012.

I took her for one last 25 mile ride today, and found more trails to explore. Now I have no pony to ride. I even sold my mountain bike.

I can't get a single bite on my street bike even though it's priced fair. My wife's Ninja sold itself basically. Found a buyer flexible enough to wait for the title after we submitted pay-off.

Last rides on the jet skiis this week before they get stowed for the winter.

So I just did a rebuild on my 98 Yz80, and it wont start. At first, we put the gaskets on wrong, so coolant was leaking everywhere. After we fixed that, and put everything back into place again, piston went up and down smoothly, and it has great compression. The problem is, it does not want to start. Im not really sure what to do, because before, my compression was very low, so I did a rebuild, but now it still does not start. So I need help.

Nice used vintage Don Vesco desert fuel tank for the Yamaha TT/XT500's. Removed from a '79 so may not fit the earlier models. In great shape, not sun-baked, Vesco petcock, Preston Petty cap and all mounting hardware included. Price is OBO plus shipping.

Selling my immaculate 2016.5 KTM 250SXF Factory Edition with only 9.6hrs on it since new. Has been vet ridden and cared for. I have a clean title in hand for the bike. Bike has the following...
-SMPro Platinum wheelset and new Dunlop MS3 tires with only a few rides on them ($1000 wheelset)
       -D.I.D ERT2 chain only a few rides
-Orange Renthal sprocket, and 13T countershaft sprocket only a few rides
-Mapped by Tokyo Mods for U4.4 (still have standard map also for pump gas)
       -WP AER 48mm air forks
       - FMF 4.1 titanium slip on muffler
Bike will come with stock header pipe but still have the FMF factory Titanium slip on. Will also take off the titanium bolts and Renthal bars and put back on the stock ones. Will aslo come with triangle stand, manual, clean title, extra twin air filter, 14T countershaft sprocket, WP air pump for the forks, half a can of U4.4 fuel, and KTM tool kit. NO TRADES. NO FINANCING. NO LOWBALLERS. Bike is in showroom condition and the Factory Editions are very hard to find used in this kind of shape or new. $6800 price is FIRM.

I just ordered a piston kit for my 1998 yz80, and it does not fit into my cylinder. I can't really remember if its a 47.5 mm or 47, i'm pretty sure it's a 47.5 but it just does not fit into my cylinder. My cylinder does have a big groove in it, so do I need a new cylinder for it to fit, or a new piston? Please respond ASAP!
