Per Cycle News:

According to Jeff Emig’s team manager, Tony Strangio, Emig underwent surgery on Thursday, May 4, to repair the broken leg he suffered from a crash while practicing at Glen Helen on the same day. Strangio said the surgery went well.

Emig is scheduled to undergo surgery again on Saturday, May 6, to repair damage to his spine. Strangio said that Emig does have full movement.

Emig is currently at the Arrowhead Regional Hospital in Fontana, California.
