Raising front forks

1 post in this topic

I'm seriously considering getting the lowering link and raising the front forks an inch in the clamps, but I tried loosening a couple of the pinch bolts and NO GO. They are in there tight and they seem to have a bit of taper to the heads that makes the wrench want to slip off. Any tips before I use all 161lbs of my muscle on them? Do they have some sort of thread locker on them? Could the heads break off?
