the new Zuk sure looks sweet on paper

I don't care what anyone says...I am a Suzuki fan. Yami's are #1 in my book but the Zook is right behind it.

Definately a nice looking ride! It looks a lot thinner and less "chunky" than the current RMZ.

The EFI 450 quads have been kicking ass for a couple of years now.

It looks like Suzuki stepped up to the plate on fuel injection for '08 and a 5 speed gearbox.

Not to mention the completely new engine.

i like the plastic too.... more geometric/angular shapes. Gives it that futuristic look just like the streetbikes are really gettin into.

It is a pretty shweet lookin and soundin bike...Just wondering if the performance is up there too.

I find it really odd that the price is lower than its carburated counterparts.

The one thing that really worries me is that: is the power going to be electric-like as MXA once described?

I am almost 99% positive that the 6099 retail price is a typo....but it sure would be nice to see Suzuki set a precidence of lowering the price for MX bikes.....and wishful thinking:thumbsup:

I have often made the point that the idea that EFI is going to be vastly more expensive than carburetion is poorly founded. A new FCR typically costs $900, all by itself. Electronics are cheap, and that's a lot of what EFI is made of. The hardware is pretty simple, with the injector itself being the most expensive, high precision component.

What would be wrong with power like an electric motor? Power everywhere across the rpm range would be bad? Power delivery with no hitches, spikes or hits? If you can hear it, it's in the fat part? That sounds good to me, as long as there's an adequate amount.

FI is not going to offer any more hp than a current carbed version. FI will however produce ultra crisp throttle response over a broad ambient temperature curve. No more jetting in the fall, then rejetting in the summer... and so on..

yeah, just trying to show what the 2 strokes were always good for, and that the hard re-start has always been an issue for some on the 4 strokes....
