Step by step for a rear shock replacement.??

lookign to upgrade the rear spring to an 11.0 on the 2000 xr650r

Is thi s fairly easy?

is there a step by step somewhere??

prolly is did you try a search go to the top right where it says "search this forum" and im sure youll have alot of threads to read up on with all your answers. Spring replacement is easy the hardest part is taking the shock off and putting back on and thats easy just takes a little time. easy job

It's pretty easy, a little time consuming but nothing complicated, some guys say easier if you remove the sub frame, I didn't bother doing that. Getting the bike waaaay off the ground on a lift really helps. Remember the spring goes in narrow side down and grease all the linkage and needle bearings while you have it apart.
