Shock/spring length 85-87 XR600

6 posts in this topic

Does anyone know this or could measure for me??

I have an 85 350R and can't find any aftermarket rear springs for it. I know it shared a lot of stuff with the 600 so possibly...............

(or are there no aftermarket springs for the 600 too?)

The free length of the 85-87 shock spring is 231mm (9.1"). I had a White Power SA shock on my '85 XR350, subsequently used it on two XR600s, bolted right up.

Eibach still makes springs for the XR350. Check out the website at eibach. com.

The only ones available are lighter weight than stock!

On further review, per Eibach 's website: 85-87 600 length is 245mm (9.65")

85 350 length is 273mm! That's 10.75"!
