On my E I cruise at 70-75mph. I have seen 82mph IIRC. These are GPS speeds.

DRZ 400 SM -- indicated highway cruise speed 70 mph, actual GPS speed 64. Top speed indicated 94, didn't have GPS with me at the time, but probably in the 85~88 range.

Uncorked exhaust, 3x3, JD jet kit.

1) Haven't had the SM wheels on all summer.

2) 103 indicated on a huge downhill with stock everything (including trailwings)

1.) I try to keep it around 60ish, 70 or so on highways

2.) 88 mph

Both speedo readings.

All stock.

Mine, by the way, is...

1) 53 MPH cruising (there a nice sweet spot there)

2) 70 MPH top speed - not really tried any faster yet. I will now!

All on stock bike (running road legal knobblies)

1. 50 mph crusing

2. 77 mph

Both indicated on the speedo.

1. Cruise at 65-70mph.

2. Top speed 97mph. (drag limited, not bouncing off the limiter.)

Indicated by stock speedo. Probably more like 90 mph top speed actual.

My speedo is a programmed (AND ACCURATE) TrailTech unit.

On a 130/60/17 with (edited) 16/39 gearing. (That used to say 13/39)

Most of the roads around me are 45-55 mph's so i run 5 over what the posted is hoping that i am close to posted.

Top speed on the speedo for me was 86 indicated. on an S all stock

I don't consider my bike a "cruiser",

so I don't cruise at any particular speed.

Highway and deserted back roads, 75~80

Max speed was 100 and still climbing. Truck wind blast made going faster a litle unsettling.

These are INDICATED speeds via the precision speed device provided as standard equipment on my 06 SM.

Further worth mentioning mods as that affects it greatly.

Stock speedo:

Cruise speed gravel: 50mph.?

Cruise speed highway: 60mph.

Cruise speed freeway: 75-80mph.

Top speed on freeway: 102mph (not downhill, in full tuck trying to hide behind the "fairing"). never hit rev limiter ever i don't think.?

Mods in garage.

1. Motorways and dual carrageways cruise around 75

In the back lanes i really get below 85 (thats were the fun is)

2. 106 fairly stock, since the cams and big bore only hit 104 but il be taking it to the same stretch of road soon so il see if its got any faster but it depends on the wind if theres a slight breeze sometimes can only reach 90 odd

I cruise at 70-80 mph

Top speed 99 mph

Both are GPS. Next decent oportunity it should run 100+ the top speed was prior to the hot cams. Although the GPS did indicate a top speed of 260 mph in the statistics, but I think that might be inaccurate.

Average cruising speed: indicated 70 (actual 65 @ about 5,500 rpm)

Top speed: indicated 96 (actual 89 @ about 8,000 rpm)

This is on a SM with a completely stock engine carb and airbox, stock tires, modified exhaust, and 16/38 road gearing.
