I totally agree. Its an extremely durable tire with a good grip. I have had several and my friend has had one. In all cases the tire held up very well and performed great on a variety of surfaces. It is a little more expensive, but you actually come out ahead due to the extended life of the tire.

I'm not a huge Michelin fan. I've been using Pirelli Scorpion MXH rear tires and Pirelli Scorpion Pro front tires. The Pirelli's hold up very well and the grip is excellent, but the side wall is rather stiff and changing the tires can be a pain in the butt.

Michelin MH3 front and rear. Way better combo on all terrain than the M12. The only problem is they are on back order until August.

Best MX Tire ever IMO.

Just like exhaust pipes, handlebars, beer, and girls, the "best one" depends on who you ask, and where they are.

Every year there seems to be a new flavor of the month as far as a tire. I have run just about every tire out there, and I personally like both the Maxxis Surecross, and the Kenda Milliville. Little know tire secrets, because no top level AMA Bubbas and Ricky's use them. They stick, they last, and they are VERY reasonably priced.

I have personally seen a number of the Millvilles slinging lugs way before tire life was exhausted. Maybe its just the terrain around here but from what I have seen firsthand I have eliminated the Millville for purchase.

I ran a Maxxis IT, while a buddy ran a Millville on the same terrain.

The Millville did nothing but chunk...while my IT may have lost one partial lug, running the same terrain, and approximate time.

After seeing that, I'd never use a Millville.

I'm extremely happy with the Pirelli MT-16 on the rear....blows the Maxxis away.
