2008 WR Street Legal?

10 posts in this topic

I heard a rumor that Yamaha might come out with dualsport Wr's in 2008. Has anyone else heard anything? :)

If a 2008 WR450 was street legal from the factory I would be the first in line! :ride:

For some of the longer trips out there, it would be sweet if the oil capacity was increased to allow more time between change intervals. And if thats all i can find to b*#ch about, i'll be next in line.

Cheers ride

Chris.::

Yeah... I love my WR for off road too much and there is already a lot of crap you have to do it (remove stuff) to make it a contender on Sunday... the XTZ sounds like a better option :)

That would be AWESOME! Any Yamaha dual sport or supermoto of 450cc or bigger would be sweet. I live in WA state and trying to get an offroad bike street legal is a pain in the a$$!

they do have the xt660 in europe already, and the street legal wr450 in australia, it's about time they bring dem bikes over here to north america..........

Add fuel injection, a larger fuel and oil tank and im in too for an 08, but i doubt it. KTM jumped on this bandwagon and their new XTC street legal dual sports are selling out like crazy.........
