Ais...diy....have I Done This Correctly

i got tired of waiting for my AIS removal kit to arrive from my dealer ( ordered nov 06 ) so tried a diy effort by plugging up the ends with loctite and steel bar thAt fitted snug in the PIPES

does this look to be correct

there is no popping on decal and i have removed all the bits and pieces

Order the TT AIS kit from the TT store. May cost you a little for shipping, but a very clean install. Your mod looks like it will work though.

I just the cut the rubber air hose above the clip, filled with silicone, same on air box, re-routed the crank breather to the upper inlet, cut the metal air tube just off from the header, bent it flat, brazed it shut. Looks super clean and works perfectly for less then $1.00.
