07' WR450f price tag

Hey all, (noob here)

Kick ass info here!! Should have no problems with mods thanks to you guys. As soon as I sell my 06' KLX250s I will be buying an 07' WR450f. MSRP says $7,199. Has anybody got a better deal than this? I'm in Montana and want to get the best deal I can. Curious what you all have paid. Need to know if I have any dickering room. Thanx for any feed back.

p.s. I'm ringing the nuts out of my little KLX (need more power captain)

Got mine for $6800 (plus sales tax. . .but NO setup fee) from Sturgis Yamaha BMW. Where in Montana are ya?

Well that's better than $7200!! No sales tax here. I'm in Missoula, MT. Sounds like I 'll have a little dickering room anyway. Thanx for the reply.

I Got Mine About Two Months Ago For $6899 Out The Door At Berts In Covina California!!!

Got mine $7000 out the door (tax, title, "green sticker" registration, etc) in Auburn, CA.

$6,600 out the door here in So. Ca. OTD motor sports, aka: LA Yamaha.

they dealer buys the bike for about $6500 i believe. i got mine for $7000 OTD because i didn't know how much room they had to deal

I got mine for 7000 out the door in Central California!

I am paying $6200 plus tax and tag in AZ (registering it in AZ, shipping it to FL for $700. I want to ride it on the street). The dealers all pay about the same $$$ for them. Shipping varys depending on how far they are from the warehouses, but that use to be part of their cost. Freight and Set up is just a way for the dealers to make extra money or at least it was when I sold Yamahas in the early '90s

Look at KSL.com. A dealer in Pocatello, Idaho is offering $6,450. He will deliver in Salt Lake City for that. You give him cash or a cashiers check for that and it is yours. I am 100% serious.

I took that offer to South Valley in SLC for them to match, and they did so (I threw in an extra $100 to not make them feel violated!). I am now the very proud owner of a 07 WR450, that I pick up Tuesday. I sold my 06DRZ400S that I put much effort and hard work into moddiing. It was a great bike, and I will miss aspects of it. I just could not get over the weight in the real rough stuff on hills.:applause:

Yeah Berts can be a good deal sometimes

Any other extra fees at South Valley Yamaha? Who did you talk to there?

I live in Draper and have a 2006 WR450.

$6299 OTD by crossing the state line from detroit and going to Honda East in Toledo. That was in early March.

Btw, had my first ride on it last weekend. holy balls, this is an awesome bike.

Call Al's Cycle in Hamilton 363-3433 Me and two of my buddies got WR 450F's there, we paid $6995 OTD and that price included jetting, grey wire and AIS delete.

Chris

Paid $6200.00 Each OTD In Scottsdale. Bought 2. The did all the free mods. Great dealership. Great way to get your 16 year old son to do stuff with the old man.

$5939.00 plus tax. A friend and I each bought one today from East Toledo Honda/Yamaha. Since they are in Ohio and we live in Michigan there was no tax paid (we'll have to do that in MI). Anyway, they were easy to deal with, straight shooters and had everything ready when we got there..No surprises.

I haven't ridden a dirt bike in 20 years and cannot wait to do the mods, plate it and hit all the old trails. The closest any of the dealers in South East MI came was $6400 plus plus.

Got mine yesterday 5/31 OTD for $6730 in Denver. This includes all of the "undo's", suspension set-up and jetting for the thin air up here. Locals can figure who it is, but at all costs [literally] stay the %$#@ away from Grand Prix Motorsports in Littleton. They actually tried the "sit in my office while I go hit up my sales mgr troll" - told him I had 5 minutes. Came back with $7700!!!!!! Must have to pay for that shiny new palace!

By the way, bought the WR vs a 06 Honda CRF450X for $6099 at OTD on Colfax [was Excel]. They don't carry Yam's in Denver...
