Why the black #plates?
I got Decal Works to do the backgrounds for the #panels and I thought a black background with white letters would look good.:applause:

Well, they look fine, but they indicate that the bike is in the 125 class.

I didnt know that!....... But the promoter in the series I race in says to use backgrounds that the score keepers can see well, like black #s on white backgrounds and black#s on white....... not like green on yellow or stuff like that so I just chose white #s on black>>>>thought it would pull more of the blue out of the bike.

Around here black backgrounds ahd white numbers means the C class. However, most of the 125A class riders run it because it is also the color scheme for the 125 pro class.

I like the way it makes the bike look darker.

Black back grounds = C class

Yellow back grounds = B class

White back grounds = A class

this of course is the amatuer

Pro's as Gray stated

White = 450

Black = 125/250/Lites

You must be pretty fast to run the sacred #19.

Very nice
