Has anyone tried removing the studs in the stock risers?

I think it would be easy to add a spacer and get a bolt to replace the stud to make a 1" riser.

i was investigating this as well, friend got the gytr top clamp and it has a spacer to raise the bars, trying to see if it would work for an 07, will let you know when i try it
