Race Sag Question

4 posts in this topic

Bike: 2007 WR450

Weight: 185 (195 w/ gear and tools)

I have cranked down on the rear spring about half way from stock position,

which is about 3/4's of the way down, but sag is still about 4 inches!

I can't believe at my weight that I will have to buy a new stiffer spring.

Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks.

my weight is the same and had to replace the front and rear with slightly stiffer springs and a better quality fork oil than standard and my suspension has been transformed. the best mod on my bike so far and not to difficult ior expensive to do either. :applause:

i guess they say the stock springs are for a 165 lb rider so it may need new springs. new springs will make it feel better also...
