Cheesy Hotstart Mount

In mounting my Dual Sport kit, the instuctions tell me to add a 1/2 inch spacer under my hot start lever to clear the turn signal switch. Any other solutions? It seems cheap to me. Is that how you guys with dual sported WRs run it? I think I would rather have the hot start on the carb. Does Works Connection have a under the bar hot start lever that would work?
