need to rebuild

1 post in this topic

This spring I will be rebuilding mr 650 r 2001

I know i need to rebuild the top end because of some compression issues, but since I am already in there I figure I might ad a few extras. Currently it is easy to start and ride, so I want to keep the easy starting aspects of the bike. I was thinking of higher compression pistons 11:1 and a valve job :applause: (larger intake)

I also have stock exhaust but that will be changing next winter.

I am hoping to gain more low to mid range torque with out loosing the top end. Any input would be appreciated.

p.s. I also dont race but I do go to the dunes with it and I love the hill climbs.:excuseme:
