XRL's can't push 70mph for 2 hrs?

Oh trust me. That's one of the reasons I got rid of my FZ1:bonk:

HAHA same here, I got rid of my CBR1000RR. But I find myself getting in trouble on my XRL too. I can get in trouble on a xr50 LOL.

My CDI went out at 14000 miles. The only thing that needed to replaced besides tires, brakes etc.

I have done a few 2-3 hour rides with a large gas tank and no stops. No problem

My CDI gave up at 13,200 ('00 XRL). Just replaced it, been running like a champ for the last 500 miles. Last weekend I ran 70+ for 2.5 hours on the highway (minus fuel stop), road hard in the dirt for about 2 hours, then home at 70+ for another 2.5 hours without a problem...oil level is fine. Rider rear end, not so fine :)

what year is your bike(s) that the cdi went out in?

Speaking of sore rear ends, anybody out there making a more tush friendly seat? I've seen tall seat kits but almost everything is for 650 Rs not Ls

Lars
