You know that funky little wire that runs from the clutch perch?

I want to remove it. do I cut them short and tie the together or tape them off seperatly? Thanks

Loop them back together and solder them, then use shrink tubing. If you do this you can still use the electic start as it was intended but if you don't pull in the clutch the starter will move the bike while in gear.:bonk:

Or just pull the little switch out of the clutch perch and tape it back on the wire harness. This will also work like Jim says.
