fastest speedo reading on the 07's... post yours

100 mph, cant read the speedo that fast ,if it dont do a hundred you get smoked by the yz'z and cr'z.:bonk:

72.8(GPS), ran out of trail.

just had a note to post somthing so heres my post :bonk:

Hit the speedo stop (180kmph/112mph) on pavement on my '02 WR426!!:bonk:!! I think the speedo's a bit biased though, seems to accelerate from 140-180 pretty easy so was probably only doing about 160kmph/100mph. Still for a 426, not bad:thumbsup:

ok i took the baffle out and did the smog removal and got it up to 86mph. my buddy said "oh thats what i heard my quad could do..." yeah right... he topped out at 72

Bone Stock my 07WR450F would do 56 MPH on a paved road. I took out the peashooter, JD jetted, Fuel Screw, AIS, Snorkel and it now does 76 MPH. This is still w/ the 1/2 throttle screw in place.

Replace it with YZ screw and you'll get 91mph, I did

I probably won't replace the screw for a while. This bike has plenty of instant power for me! I'm already looking @ the front fender too much anyway, when it rises towards the sky!! My front tire still has the new rubber nipples on it, the back is getting toasted pretty good...

Dude.... you gotta lose that throttle stop

You Must Lose The Throttle Stop And Do Grey Wire Mod!!! With The Mods You Have Already Done You Must Cut That Screw!! I Saw 88mph Yesterday On A Dirt Road. Had To Back Off Due To Catching The Wr250f I Was Chasing!!nice

It is all relevant to gearing. If you run 16/40 gearing you would go close to 180-220 km/h, but if you are like me 14/50 i hit about 135km/h and she's screaming.

Looks

16/40 is ridiculous! Thats the tallest gearing I've heard of on an offroad bike. I run 13/50 and like it waaaay better than stock gearing and a little bit better than the 51 I was running in back.

My ol 2002 426 one tooth bigger than stock front, four smaller on rear 116MPH on pavement. My new o7wr450 no limit screw JD jetting fmf pipe stock gearing on pavement 86mph, that was BEFORE i tried to get rid of the damm 1/4 throttle surgeing now it does not run at all. Had to take ol reliable out today.

Did 90 mph on my 07 but had to pull back before I ran out of road. There was definitely more there. Stock front / 48 rear gearing.

I got a quick question about the 07's speedo... If you change the gearing or put a set of supermoto rims and tires on it, is it going to affect the speedo reading? Cause on my daytona 675 I have to fix the speedo after doing a 520 sprocket and chain conversion...

Front wheel diameter / circumference will definitely throw it off. There is a correction function you can program in but I don't know if it will accommodate the difference a 17" rim would make......:applause:
