04 subframe

2 posts in this topic

my 04 wr lower right side subframe mount, has some play in it. you can push down on the seat and see it move! the bolt was worn, I replace it and torqued it down, but it still had play! the hole on my subframe must be elongated. if I drill it out and put a steel bushing in it would it hold up? and what would cause this?

Buy the steel wr426 sub frame. I am on my 2nd aluminum sub frame because the holes do elongate. You can try and have it rewelded and drilled. There is not enough meat for a larger hole and bushing.:applause:
