Another 650L jet question

7 posts in this topic

Can anyone tell me which pilot jet the 02 650L uses? is it a 21 series or 22 series? It's been so long since I've had it apart I can't remember what the pilot jet looked like.

Thanks

Dan

Go to Sudco. com and look at the online catalog index, go to Keihin mani jets and pilot jet pages. The ones I ordered work great and seem to be the correct ones.

Main- Sudco# 019-201, Keihin # 99101-393-158 (158 main)

Pilot- Sudco# 019-548, Keihin # N424-26-055 ( 55 pilot)

I had the same question - I watched the Dave's Mods video that's out there and the guy installed a pilot jet with the threading on the larger diameter portion of the jet. This matched up to the 21 series pilot jets in the TT store's catalogue page (link below). So I ordered the 21 series.....:applause: The 22 series has the threading on the smaller diameter tip of the jet screw. Hope this helps

Thats about what I was thinking but I didn't want to start ordering the wrong jets. I did the Dynojet kit a couple years ago and I've never been real happy with the popping on decel so now that the weather's warming up I guess it's time to fix it.

Thanks for the replys, it's always nice to have a source of helpful information.

Just ordered a handful of jets from the TT store, time to set aside a day to play with the carb.

if you look at Sudco the pics that are for the slow jets are threaded on the big diameter. 21 series in the TT store.
