im looking for someone who has or knows of someone or somewhere selling graphics for a 98 yz400f. i herd you can use the 426 graphics seen as there the same. anyone know if true or even where i can get them?

The plastics for the YZ400 and YZ426 are the same. Try rockymountainmc.com or thumpertalk.com for the graphics. They should be easy to find.
