What did you pay for your 07 yz450f

Just got back from my local Yamaha dealer after buying my son a PW50 and was talking to the salesman about getting a 450 for me but he didnt seem to want to let it go for under 6800. Granted I wasnt going to buy it that day and he knew that, but just seemed like he wasnt budging much on price. I have bought many other bikes and always got a better deal than this just wondering what everyone else paid out the door?

I did the same thing, bought a 07 TTR50, paid too much for the 07 YZ450 a month later. I wanted to ride with the daughter so I paid it. It was considerable over $6800.

i bought the 2nd 450 in town and paid 7139 out the door. I knew i would pay a couple hundred more for getting it early but who thinks about 2-3 hundred after riding it. oh yeah I did get the special addition and a pmb spark arrestor and some cool yamaha straps.

Its been my personal experience that yamaha 's cost more than other bikes...just my experience.I paid 5800 OTD for my 2005 honda 450 and the best i could do on this 2007 yamaha was 6400 OTD.From what i gather i did alright compared to most on this board. If i were you pony up and pay it.YOu will not be sorry and the price you paid will be forgotton forever as soon as you crack the throttle on that 450.

I paid ~6650 OTD for the white one and so did a guy that was buying one the same time I did. Do you have places you can shop around? Tell them you know what other people are paying and won't budge.

You can buy them from Thumpertalk but you may have to pay sales tax when you register it with your state.

6200-6800 OTD is the range for a new 07 here in the Southeast

I bought my 07 YZ 450 for $5999 OTD. The place is now seling them for $5799 OTD. Ridiculous that one place is selling them for sticker and then have the nerve to tell us that they only make a few hundred bucks on the bike. :ride:

I had one place quote me ~8500 OTD after taxes and all their bullcrap fees (I was paying cash, too). They also told me that selling dirt bikes is not a very profiteable business. I laughed and went looking elsewhere.

Motorcycle dealers are worse than used car sales men! if it wasnt that profitable, then why does my local dealer have a damn 30ft. television inside of their 30,000 sq.ft. showroom. dont let these scum bags walk all over you! haha

Here in 'Vegas, they wanted $9100.00 after all was said and done. Once I finished laughing, I drove to Richfield Utah and paid $6800 including taxes. I really didn't even have to pay the tax since I am from another state, but Nevada has been auditing nereby states lately and making people pay a "use tax".

Gee, just like California. Any bike brought in from out of state, or purchased privately, on which no California sales tax was collected at the point of sale is subject to a use tax, which is in no way coincidentally calculated at the exact same rate as the sales tax. California buyers seeking deals outside the state need to bear that in mind, and add 7.5% to the end cost of the "bargain".
