Aftermarket muffler lengths?

7 posts in this topic

Check out the MRD. I got with Dave to create the shortest possible slip-on without making it too loud. It turned out awesome!

How many db's on your short pipe?

I haven't measured the decibels yet but the great thing about the MRD is that Dave managed to get it tucked in tight without shortening the muffler any. It's still the same length, he just changed the shape and length of the midpipe to get the muffler to sit 3 inches further in than it used to. I posted some pics in this forum of my bike with it on. It sounds great, isn't loud and definitely added a little extra grunt with just the slip on. Oh yeah, it sticks out from behind the number plate maybe a total of 2-1/2".
