450 stroker motor

I am interseted in building a stroker motor or long rod 450 any suggestions i will be using the bike for flattrack racing Thanks Mark

There is a falicon long rod kit for the YFZ that when used with the stock bore that works real well if you want to stay at 450. If you want to go to 505, there are plenty of stoker cranks sitting on the race shop shelves since the displacement change. Tdub

Thanks Tryce I need to keep it a 450 for the prosport class, In your opinion will there be much of a gain? any major drawbacks? Thanks for the info. Mark Fillebrown

Mark, for the money probably not. A good cam, headwork, carb, and proper assembly...you know where to go for that:smirk:JMO Tdub
