Need Help getting bearings out!

YZ400 swingarm linkage bearings are having a hard time coming out. I took a socket that fit inside and beat the hell out of it but they either peel the lip to the inside of the bearing or won't budge at all. Any ideas?...

Soak them with PB Blaster (available at Pep Boys) for a while, then use a heat gun to heat up the aluminum swing arm a bit. If that doesn't work, take the swing arm to a machine shop and have them pressed out, or rig up your own press with a big C clamp and the right size sockets. If you have a ball joint press with the right adapters, that will work too. The key is breaking loose the corrosion that occurs between the aluminum swing arm and the steel bearing race, then applying uniform, consistant pressure.

have them pressed out and new ones pressed in....

have them pressed out and new ones pressed in....

 ...anything less will do possible damage.

That Birdie, he's got a ton of good ideas.
