Wiesco Pistons ???

i mean wiseco

are they good ?

anyone use them ?:lol::confused:

Yup. 13.5:1. Alittle noisier than stock (you run a little looser clearance for forged pistons), but works well

what do u mean by looser clearence? the space between the skirt and the wall?

I use nothing else, 13.5 to one.

Yes, that's it. Forged pistons expand a bit more than cast do, so they run looser skirt to wall clearnace.

do they have the same amount of wear on the sleeve ?

do the 13.5:1 last as long

can i use pump gas?

prolly a 2hp gain right?

Over 4000 miles so far

Yes pump gas

Should see a power gain

Yes, they last as long...maybe longer. With a std bore, 13.5:1 and hot cams, I could run pump gas. Wiht a 444 big bore, 13.5:1, and the same hot cams, I have to run a 50/50 mix of C12 and pump premium to keep the dreaded dingles away

You won't be disappointed with the 13.5:1 piston. It really wakes up the 426. I do, however, use race gas because she will ping with pump gas. :lol:

Been using them for 30+ years on both 2 stroke and 4. Great piston!

You CANNOT run pump gas and think your making more power than C12.. You have to rejet so rich so it does'nt detonate thus getting black color at the back of the muffler.. I run C12 and my muffler is grey... Do you know why??? CAUSE IT HAS LEAD!!! Good for the valves and the engine cylinder runs cooler..
