This is my 2000. It now has a carbon chain guide, carbon rear master guard, and am working on finding a carbon airbox for it.

Well my friend 642MX, you have my vote - You won a new set of Maxxis IT's - Which would certainly make your bike look, tougher, more manly and of course - better. See my garage for the best looking stock 426

I don't think my elbows could take mounting another set of Maxxis 's...:smirk:

Are you about ready to freshen up your motor?

Here's my '02...same graphics as novi2krt. I also have a white IMS tank and shrouds but no graphics for it. Need to have the frame powder coated a different color before I can put all that on anyway.

I was toying with the idea of swapping to white plastics and tank on the next "mandatory" plastic change, on ATM a guy posted up a link to graphics that would have looked awesome for the 426 on white with the blue frame, but now I can't remember the company! DOHH!

Shrekka has the graphics I just wsa forced to remove, I really liked those!

Hello everyone, you wouldn't believe the brain dead mistake I made. So I installed my crank into the right side engine case on my 02 YZ426F last night. (Keyword Night) Then I proceeded to install the left side engine case onto the crank and trans with the Tusk Crank Installer. All is fine and dandy until I realized I didn't put any Yamabond on the case halves.  Now the left side case will not come back off the crank for the life of me. Note: The first time I split the cases the left side case came off without any hiccups. I am using the splitting tabs built into the case by the way. Does anyone have any tips? Also, why is the left side case being so stubborn this time? I hope I don't have to order a case splitter, those tabs saved me $70!

I'm finally getting the chance to go to the dunes in Oregon and cant decide weather I should run a 8 or 10 paddle tire on the back of my 81 YZ465 2stroke. Suggestions? Pros and cons for each? Thanks!

Hey all, let me get right to the point, basically for the past couple years I've had this bike, it hasn't been running right. It tends to start well, and has a decent amount of power for a 200+ lb kid on it, but once I attempt to hit the top of the power band, it tends to cough and sputter like it's choking. When I recently checked to carb to jet it, I realized ALL but one of the Jets are missing. I've checked the reed valves, they seem to be in great shape... However, today (it is a warm day) it ran great for a while, after topping off the oil and running with the choke half on, this bike also leaks oil, but I'm almost convinced that this is a jetting issue (being that they're missing)  at this point, but I've also never put a top end in this bike. Thanks for any help, I'd just like to get an opinion on what you guys think.   I know I'm all over the place btw, sorry for that

      I've currently got a 2016 yz250x. I love it but it's not road legal.
I've got my motorbike license and I need a bike to ride to work. If I'm going to drop a few k on another bike, I figure I might aswell get a road legal dirtbike so I can ride on the road during the week but also ride in the state forests on the weekend.
So my question is, what bike would suit my purpose better? The RMX or the WR? Or are there any other bikes I should be looking at? Here in australia theres about 20 times more wr's for sale then rmx's, and spare parts availabilty is easier for the wr cos they're so popular, so I'm leaning towards this, but I'm open to suggestions from others.
Regardless of which one I got, I'd get a supermoto wheelset for it so I could just swap wheelset instead of changing tires every weekend.
      Thanks in advance
